State of the Map US (SOTMUS) is an annual gathering of people, organizations and companies that use OpenStreetMap. It will happen at CU Boulder, featuring talks and panels on both Friday and Saturday (Oct 20 and 21) with workshops and field trips on Sunday (Oct 22).
This is an amazing opportunity to meet a group of talented and passionate mappers in a variety of industries from all around the world, right here in Boulder. You will have the opportunity to hear about the cutting edge uses of OpenStreetMap data and a chance to talk to the people who are doing it.
What are Talks Like?
SOTMUS 2017 will include over 40 speakers, 30 lightning presentations, panels, workshops and activities. Speakers represent a wide variety of organizations and groups from dozens of startups and big name companies to non-profits, governments, and more.

Volunteering
SOTMUS is all volunteer run. During the conference we will need more volunteers to help with the registration booth, directing people, and answering general questions.
